Never fear… May 27, 2007

Alright.  For some reason, I have decided to do a post on Josh.  I’m not exactly sure why he merits a post, since he isn’t even one of my siblings, or… oh well.

Let’s see.  Josh, to my dismay, just turned 16.  This caused me some concern as, first of all, I had no clue that he was that old.  Secondly, this meant that he was getting a driver’s permit.  Frightening thought.  Novel idea!  It made me feel old.  =P

Josh has a great sense of humor.  He is generally able to laugh at himself, but is careful not to hurt other people feelings by laughing at them.

Josh quotes:

“Never fear, Josh is here!”
“Philothephers. Philothacers. BLEH!  Ugh… oh… that really long hard word… Epi… your POETS!

42!! (Josh’s answer last year to every quizzing question which he had jumped on for no particular reason

Josh:  “Oh look!  A hunter!”
us all in car:  *look*
Josh:  “Isn’t he hard to see?”  (in all bright orange against green trees and a green hill… ) “yeah, quite hard.”

Josh has also become most helpful as my bodyguard.  For some reason, we often end up on the same team at guard-the-pins, and he stands in front of me.  Of course, I guess that there is a 50/50 chance that we’ll end up on the same team anyway, and that there are only so many places to stand, but hey, I appreciate it anyway.  =)

And then Josh has been MOST helpful with David G.  This week, David (solely to annoy me, and he admitted as much) began saying over and over, “You’re dumb, you’re dumb, you’re dumb, you’re dumb…”  So I said to Josh, “Would you please whack him for me?”  (It’s always better to delegate these sorts of jobs.)

Josh:  *prepares to run after him*  “What did he do?”

me:  “Oh, he called me dumb.”
Josh:  *gleefully runs after David and comes back in a minute looking pleased with himself.”

So yeah.  That’s Josh.  I also appreciated him not flipping out when I got a little freaked out on certain scenes on Spiderman 3.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Josh supplied his quizzing team’s mascot — a small, stuffed… thing… named Knuckles.  Knuckles (with his owner) provided much amusement for us all as Josh would hold him up and announce brightly to everyone in the room, “This is Knuckles.  Fear Knuckles!”  When things went well for their team, Josh’s surmise was, “Everyone has feared Knuckles so far!!”

Um… sure.

Josh is actually Antion’s younger brother. (I’m assuming that you know who Antion is. *cough*)

[…] Well, the readers in my group were Antion and Josh, who happen to be brothers.  Antion is loud.  Not all the time, but he certainly does have the capability.  Josh, on the other hand, is rather quiet.  Furthermore, Antion is generally dramatic, while Josh is… quiet.  […]
