New Music June 7, 2007

Today my new CDs came (Newsboys Go and Jars of Clay Good Monsters) and of course, I read all the lyrics to all the songs.  ^_^ 

Analysis on a few Newsboys songs:

Wherever We Go

It sounds like Michael Kelly Blanchard lyrics.  “Wherever we go, that’s where the party’s at”, and it also reminds me of their song Shine.  Good concept, nonetheless — as believers we have something which the world doesn’t.

I LOVE this song.  It’s actually the reason I bought the CD.  They did a great job of coming up with different “beautiful” things:  A kiss without any shame, the child on her wedding day, laughing until we cry.

I think that they eavesdropped on Antion and my conversations…
