Okay. I have NOT fallen off the face of the earth. June 20, 2007
Posted by Anya in : spontaneous degeneration , trackbackIt’s just been busy. Yesterday I went to a pregnancy crisis center to see about volunteering, came home and woodburned, and then we went swimming. Today we had medical appointments and were out of town. Loooong wait in the dear doctor’s office. I played with Middle and Old English, decided that I’m not ready for Old and better work my way back, and proceeded to translate the first ten lines of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in my ME reader. Yay. ^_^ Then… um… yeah, I practiced writing a few Chinese characters.Â
We were going to go to the zoo, but unfortunately they closed earlier than we thought. Boohoo. =(
So instead we went to the Goodwill and some other store that sold Western stuff (they had some nice-ish jewelry but it was either stones which I liked in HUGE settings or pretty settings with ugly stones. Or just plain expensive. =p) Then we went and had supper, and we didn’t get home till about 9:30.Â
Oh yeah, I also listened to part of the first message from the New Attitude conference. ^_^ I like it a lot. It reminds me of being at camp. Anyway, they can be downloaded off of Sovereign Grace Ministry’s website, here. For free!Â
Hmm… for some reason, xanga is not being cooperative.Â
YAY. I think I have discovered how to do all sorts of fun things on our computer. The paint program has finally begun working again.
Goodnight!

Fun stuff!
You know, I find it pretty hilarious that you start off a post by saying “I played with Middle and Old English, decided that I’m not ready for Old and better work my way back, and proceeded to translate the first ten lines of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight…Then… um… yeah, I practiced writing a few Chinese characters.”
Not many people could say that.
Haha… yeah… thanks!
