Why does the quote in James 2:18 just “You have faith and I have works”? I think that it might make sense if it was “You have faith and I have works. Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works”, or even the whole way through verse 26! Silly Greeks. They were so brilliant — why couldn’t they have come up with quotation marks??
Other question. Why is the high priest in Zechariah called Joshua? Is that perhaps related to another Yeshua, who we know better by His transliterated Greek name of Jesus?
